From walks in nature. Spring this year has begun during winter. Already in mid-February the first migratory birds appeared. Whooper swan, Taiga bean goose and other migratory birds stopped to feed and rest on green flooded meadows. Some of them will remain to nest, others will continue to North. Common cranes started mating rituals and dancing. Dancing may include bobs, bows, pirouettes, and stops. Courtship displays begin with a male following the female in a stately, march-like walk. The unison call consists of the female holding her head up and gradually lowering down as she calls out. The female calls out a high note and then the male follows with a longer scream in a similar posture.
