Common Cranes (Grus grus) in Sulinkiai peatland and in adjacent agricultural areas (Lithuania). These wetlands are important stop-over sites for migratory Common Cranes. The common crane (Grus grus), also known as the Eurasian crane, is a bird of the family Gruidae. Common crane winter in Africa, the Middle East, India, and southeast China. In Lithuania a rare species included in the Lithuanian Red Book. At present, the number of couples in Lithuania is over a thousand.

what blows me away is that they fly in dense and seemingly chaotic formations but never collide
