Common Frog - Rana temporaria

By Mendipman
It is that time of the year and over the last few days with the mild nights we seen numerous frogs and toads making there way to the local spawning grounds. This one was taken in our garden pond last year.

Best viewed large.

Many thanks for the votes and comments on the previous upload of the Skipper butterfly and especially to Paul (livinglevels), Bob (bobpaige1) and Bernie (BRITCHIE) for their User Awards, so very much appreciated. GrinGrinGrinGrin

Excellent capture! 👏😀 Really sharp! I'm just starting to see the first signs of froggie action in our Staffordshire garden pond; we usually get about 80 during the yearly frenzy, and it's not a big pond! Very exciting! Looking forward to the sound and action beginning again!
