Shooting from the hips! Sounds like a gun-slinger in a Western film, so you can go unnoticed. My method is to have the camera hanging in front of me, just below chest level. I find if the subject does not see you with the camera up at eye level, they assume you are not taking pictures. Good capture, by the way!
