I went , again , to sea caves yesterday to try and make a double shoot. The milky way there at 3.30 in the morning and the sunrise , in another near by town at 6 in the morning . I hoped for a crystal sky for the Galaxy and a cloudy sky for the sunrise. The opposite happened so , here it is Smile I know it is done to death but the clouds and the brighter star that "touches" the head beam , makes that bit of a difference. A single NEF file with minimal process.
For the technically minded ----- Camera Nikon D800 with Nikon 14 24 m f/2.8 at f/2.8 exposure 30,0 sec; f/2,8; ISO 2500 . opened with camera raw , leveling , contrast , lens corrections ...passed to PS for noise removal (Topaz denoise 5) , sharpening. In order to enhance the beam , a brightness and contrast layer was added with the bright tones (Luminosity mask) set as a selection.
