What boundaries does it break? People have been rendering digital art for ages.
Surely you dont mean because its not a photograph? Neither would a poem be a photo, but I wouldnt expect an HC for submitting a poem on here?

In a way what I do is exactly like a photographer in his studio.
He choses a model, who is made up of atoms, mine is made up of numbers.
He choses his props, his background and his lighting, I do the same.
He choses the exposure and shutterspeed, I chose render quality, and many other details.
He choses what angle to take the photo, and if he uses a digital camera, its pixels, how is that so different to what I do here.
