Contemplation

By Goggz
One of the Roman re-enactors we met at Chester on the recent meet. V2 is colour...

It struck me that, as well as a characterful face, he was obviously thinking of something other than the pot, whilst he was having a conversation with those watching him.

He had a quick and sure hand at throwing pots, which must have come from long experience, as he made a really nice Roman bowl within the space of a few minutes. Then he squashed it into a ball and started all over again.

1/40th sec, ISO400, f22 to get the wheel spin.

Thanks for looking,

Cheers, Goggz

Thanks everyone Smile

I wanted some movement in the wheel, but it was hard getting little/no movement in him. Had a few goes and this one came out best.

Ta for your comments.

What a difference between the black/white and colour. Suddenly the definition of the wrinkles on the face spring out at you.
You captured a moment, congrats!
