Coot

I took this at the London Wetland Centre on Saturday. I was photographing a bittern when out of the corner of my eye I saw this coot swimming rapidly towards another. I quickly put the camera onto it and it immediately set off, running across the water towards the other coot!

Good timing. I'd like to see a very different crop here, one that takes out superfluous water and places the bird less centrally. I have done one - if you want it, message me and I'll arrange to send it to you.
