Copernicun Sunrise

By AntHolloway
A view of the Moon orientated with the Sun above. If you were stood in the crater Copernicus (lower centre) then the Sun would have just risen above the horizon.

The surface features along the 'day/night' border, or terminator, will show the greatest relief and detail of their structure. To the right in the highlands is the 86km wide crater Tycho with clearly defined sides and central peak.

First upload taken with a new Orion Optics UK VX8L Newtonian telescope.
