Coppice CCCLXXXIV

By tomcat
At last! - This Long-tailed tit Aegithalos caudatus, is the first image of the New Year, from The Coppice
It has been over a month, since I was last up there, with the cameraSad

Today would have been one of those, far and few days, when there was nothing happening on site.
Be buggered if I was going to open up, just to do an hours paperwork, so I took the decision yesterday afternoon, to close for the dayWink

The weather wasn't great and the fog came down after I had arrived at the woods, but it sort of kept coming and going. Nothing was going to deter me, from a few hours up there with the cameraGrin

Many thanks to Valery (ValeryAst) & Ron (Maiwand). for their generous awards, given to yesterday's GoldfinchTongue
Thanks guys - means a lotSmile

A fine shot of this delightful little bird Adie, it looks like a morning well spent over at the Coppice. We've had glorious wall to wall sunshine in Gloucestershire today for the first time since New Years Day.

A little cracker, Adrian, detailed to perfection. I managed to get my first shots of 2013 today too but they don't look overly exciting Sad
