Coppice CLXX

By tomcat
Instinct tells me this is a Willow tit Poecile montanus, rather than one of the Marsh tits Poecile palustris, who also frequent The Coppice feeding station.
Where as the Marshies flit in and out very quickly, I have noticed the Willows tend to load up their mouth, with as much seed as possible, before flying off to devour it.

Extending the hide at the weekendGrin, so I can have more shooting optionsTongue

Tripod & cable reelase as usual

Must be rated amongst your best Coppice features in my opinion, Adrian. Good natural colour with fine detail & perfectly perched against that unique b/g.
Regarding ID, you are right to be guided by your instincts - I've always find it difficult to differentiate between the two, despite diligently checking through all my bird books.
