Corners

Starting a run of images involving corners of a room.
I loved the deep brown in the lead on this one, a little richer image than the B&W in the version.

I tried editing out the rails but after the fourth attempt and with the areas looking obviously, very obviously, edited I gave up and when with the just as it is approach.

Nice ly done Dave. I agree that the colour version is better, it's monochrome anyway. Interesting illusion in that it could an internal or external corner, the patterned cornice in particular seems to project outwards.

This is a really good idea for a series Dave. I prefer the colour as the tones and age show up so well. Totally agree on your approach to rails too.

I know of people who have painted themselves into a corner but you may be the first to photograph yourself into one.
Colour for me. As Cooky said, the age is more obvious.
