Corsa VXR(2)

By Freezeframe
After yesterdays post of the Over the top edited version of the Corsa VXR which i still prefer myself here is the original 5 RAWs converted in photomatix and then cropped, resized and levels in CS2 but no LucisArt filter applied.

For the true HDR fans i know this still looks over saturated but it gives an idea of how the LucisArt plugin can change the look of any picture and if used with various layers at different opacitys it can be a very powerfull plugin for many subjects and effects.

Thanks once again for all the clicks and comments on the previous upload.

Thanks for posting this, I remember yesterdays upload very well and saying that I'd like to see the original.
I have carefully looked at both large versions side-by-side as it were and have to admit that I prefer this one, each to their own I suppose, I just like the subtlety of this one and I don't think it's over-saturated at all, it's right for what it is....

Thanks Tony,i can see your point and once i get over the fun factor of LucisArt i can see i will tone the effects of it down a bit but can honestly say that it is an amazing plugin to experiment with.

All the best

Glen

I'm going to be devils advocate and say that I prefer the 'over-the-top' one. Suits the car better - both look outrageous and fun!

It's interesting to see the original picture. I think you've done such a good work on the HDR that I actually still prefer the HDR one. I agree this looks a little over-saturated particularly around the front left wheel and the floor (very yellow-ish). Again, great work with the HDR.

Thanks everyone for the input, the yellow tint around the front left was due to trying to balance the light from the showroom with the external light. Will be changing the showroom round soon so will try again in another location but might have a go at one of the Lotus cars instead as these are in a seperate place to our main reception and the lighting is a little more controlable.

All the best

Glen
