I am a fan of what they call colour popping now apparently, and we called selective desat. in my day. As you have shown here it can give another dimension to a photo and it can:
" Accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
(And doesn't) mess with Mister In-Between."
And the sepia works better here than just black and white. Love it!

“ I know that colour popping isn't everyone's cup of tea but, I quite like the effect when coupled with sepia toning”.
