Cottage Windows

By nanpantanman
A very old cottage in the Charnwood Forest area of Leicestershire. I was drawn by the shadows of the trees on the wall. I wondered 'Why three windows?'. If you look closely you can see that they replaced one big window.

very nice graphic image. I like the shadows cast by the window frames and fittings but not sure about the black border at the bottom.

Thank you Geoff, Paul and Connie for your lovely comments. The black at the bottom was part of the house.

This has to be my favourite type of shot - minimalistic but makes its point. I would of thought this worthy of more comments, just wondering though if the windows were positioned off center slightly it may have more impact? just my opinion, like it anyway!
