My second visit of the week to Cotton church. First time was on Tuesday, only to find the church all locked up and no answer from the keyholder’s mobile. I decided to head back today, the promise on the noticeboard that the church was open on Friday. I also seemed to find a window in the weather. Whilst the rest of the UK is experiencing snow, we seem to live in a micro-climate in mid-Suffolk which always seems to miss the worst/best of the weather. However, the advantage of this was blue skies and spring-like sunshine. Just right to highlight the ‘almost sandstone’ coloured church.
