An exceptionally well controlled exposure.

Did you spot meter for this and use a grad at all?

Michael, I used 5 stops of grad on this to try and hold back the sun, I used matrix metering but underexposed by a couple of stops and took a few exposures at different settings.
This frame was the best, ISO200, 1/30th at f9, focal length 10mm.

The tufts of cotton make this image giving scale and shape to the image.
