Country House

By davart
Went to stay in North Wales recently and visited Some National Trust Properties in tyhe area.

This is a very old country house with loads of character. We were there around midday in the blistering sun (worst time for photo's), so getting a reasonable image was challenging.

I settled for a fullon pic of the house with the strong shadow of the tree leading up to it.

At least I didn't need tyhe tripod, the shutter speeds, even at ISO 100 were way up the in thousandths of a sec.

As always comments are welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Dav.

made good use of the shadow there Dav, mid day is pants as you say and you have to work twice as hard to get a shot 1/2 as good as a dusk shot... so that's 4 times harder I guess Smile

the trunk shadow looks like it's cradelling the house in a way.

met up with Eddie the other day... blast from the past there !
