It was Tuesday and everything was closing and the light fading...
I have kept the power lines in as they're a bit of interest in the sky and I rather liked their diagonal sweep holding the sides together!

One unaccompanied male over in the shadows to the right, it seems. Perhaps jealously observing the couples, or maybe with a sigh of relief that he doesn't have a partner, who knows...
Looks a lovely location, Kath and they're no doubt walking off some of the Christmas over indulgence.

I'd guessed it was Hebden Bridge before I scrolled down! 👍🏻 A fine mono presentation Kath, and not overrun with tourists either, being the time of year 😃😃 I'd have been taking refuge from the cold in the 'Shoulder of Mutton'... 🍺🍺

Never been here, it looks very nice, Kath. Where is The Trades Club I wonder? I read that various legends like Bert Jansch, John Martyn, John Renbourne et al have all played there. Sounds very good.

It is behind where I have taken this shot and on the street across the road near the canal. Very central. Hebden is full of alternatives; lifestyles, therapies, comedy and music! I feel it is a Rochester of the North mixed with Glastonbury and Brighton but much smaller!!! You would fit in awfully well Dave!
