Cow Fossil

By Davesumner
McKenzie Falls, Grampians National Park, Victoria, Australia.

This was also taken during a recent camera club weekend away to the Grampians. The shot was taken using a tripod and in the absence of a neutral density filter I used a circular polariser to get as slow a shutter speed as I could. I called the shot 'Cow Fossil' because of the cow shaped rock mid right of the image. The sky has been cropped because I couldn't get the exposure right and it kept blowing out which was to be expected as this was taken at 3.35pm in bright light.

Focal Length 35mm, ISO 50, f/22.0 at 0.5 sec with -2 stops exposure compensation and circular polariser.

Lots of colour and texture. I see the cow, but there's also a dog bottom left, and the more I look the more animals I see.
