Cowal Compressed.

By Tooma
This is the ferry leaving Tarbert in Argyll and Bute, to cross Loch Fyne to Portavadie on the Cowal Peninsula; Tarbert is on the Kintyre Peninsula. The distance between the villages is just over 4 miles and takes about 25 mins on the ferry, 2.5 hours to drive. Noticing how much shorter than 4 miles the distance looks because of my long lens inspired my title.

A lovely image of Loch Fyne in all it's splendor and complete with the ferry boat. I was trying to work out where the pier is where the boat left from. From it's wake it looks as if must further left of your image.
