Crab Spider - Misumena vatia

By Mendipman
This is one from last year in the garden. We had some carrots in a port and we'd left a few to flower (just to see what they might attract), It seemed to be popular with the crab spiders as well as other bees and flies. There was another one on the next flower head as well as one further down on another stem. I was able to use another carrot flower behind the one with the spider for a more pleasing background.

Best viewed large.

Many thanks for the votes and comments on the previous upload of the Wall Brown butterfly and especially to Bill (richmowil) for your user award, very much appreciated. GrinGrinGrinGrin:
