Another simple image of Inis Oirr (Inisheer), (also known as Craggy Island to Father Ted Fans). There are a small number of thatched cottages on the island well worth photographing.
Island life fascinates me a lot, if they wanted new double glazing fitted or a new roof, do they contact the mainland, who would have to travel by ferry, how do they get the materials across, scaffolding, double glazed units, 400 roof tiles etc! Or do they they do it all "in-house" so to speak, I suppose they must do.
Answers on a postcard please!
All comments and votes very welcome indeed.
Andrew.
