In case you haven't gathered by now, I'm a big fan of Father Ted, so to visit Father Ted's Parochial House (the biggest highlight of all my visits to Ireland so far) and Craggy Island was just the icing on the cake.
This is Inisheer (Inis Oirr) and is easily reached by Ferry from Doolin. This is the best island to visit as you get to spend more time on it and it's doable in the limited time you do get.
This is, I think, McDiarmuda's and the dart board, games area of the pub. The pub shows Sky Sport which is not what you expect, as it spoils the atmosphere, but the Irish do like their sports, especially Horse Racing, Gaelic Football and Hurling.
All comments and votes very welcome indeed.
