Craigie Fort Views

By RonnieAG
These two shots are posted specially for Linda (Mynett).

Again, they were taken on the 2nd. March, the same day as previous up-loads, and both are from Craigie Fort.
V 1. This is a similar background (hills behind Luss on L. Lomond's west shore) to previous shots, but this time with foreground framing.
V 2. This was taken with the consent of the couple, holiday makers from England. I quite like the occasional landscape to include figures to give a sense of scale and perspective. This idea will not find favour with all, but there is a place for it in the likes of photojournalism I feel. I shall be pleased to hear the opinion of others regarding this as I am posting it as "landscape with human interest".

(Once more, much thanks to all for comments and votes on recent shots - greatly appreciated)

Ronnie.

More glorious views, Ronnie, what a glorious corner of the earth you live in. Carol
The mountains certainly look good with their winter coat of snow Ronnie, a body doesn't have to go so far from Glasgow to see nature and her beauty.

here is your human interest heheh! I favour V2 (both shots are great BUT there is always a but) I think often in landscape type pics (seascape as well) the image is enhanced by something/somebody in the picture to focus on beside the view (I like the red turn ups on the trousers) V2 is a cracker

V1 is a lovely composed image and you get a great sence of tranquility as well as the grandeur of the mountains. I quite like including human interest in some landscapes but I think in this case the man's head breaking the line of the mountains is a bit off putting. Two great images for your pf though. Humble opinion only - I'm no expert!

This is a Great series that you're sharing Ronnie! This one is no exception with the Wonderful Lighting & Framing!
Sorry, Have to agree with Joan regarding the guys head intruding into the horizon. Maybe if he was crouched while contemplating the landscape in front of him would improve the pic.
Apart from that, Stunning!
Regards.

Both absolutely wonderful, but I love the inclusion of the holidaymakers in V2 - we so often try to take landscapes devoid of human impact - no people, no cars, clone out the overhead cables etc. But sometimes they can add interest and enhance the scene - in this case it's the colourful clothing that I love!
