Cranberry & Amaryllis

By Irishkate
This is a little Christmas Creation. My daughter send us a lovely bouquet with Amaryllis
flower still in bud. A few buds fell off so I put them in a glass bowl with some cranberries
and added a bokeh texture. Hope somebody likes it.
Many thanks for comments re Christmas Still Life.

Nice bit of thinking and planning behind this festive creation, Kate: such a shame that these buds did not reach full potential but at least you created something very original with them.
Full marks to you.

a very sensual composition.. beautiful and unusual. the only thing I don't like is that 1980s computer text.
A lovely composition with a watery look and magic colours.
I think Santa is the cause of the Xmas red look. Don't forget
we Australian's have the Poinsettia in summer.
Well done. WesternRed.

This is a very interesting subject Kate. The colours have come out
really Christmassy and so different from the norm.
I do like the light patterens that look like lemon rings.. Brilliant…...GrinWink
