Crash, Bang, Wallop What a Picture ...

Taken last night in the company of Angie and family. This is the annual musical fireworks competition.

12 secs @ f16 Bulb Exposure, Processed in C1 LE and presented in PS.

As ever please feel free to comment +/- all appreciated [and mods too].

EDIT: Will probably suffer due to the lack of dynamism in the thumbnail, but ... Anyway, if you visit and don't like, then please let me know why so I can learn and adapt.

Similar on this one Alan, just trial and error blocking the lens, but it certainly is more controllable than just leaving the shutter open, as you can get better trail definition.

Sometimes dark thumbnails can get overlooked but I hope that doesn't happen in this case. It's a good fireworks shot which benefits from the viewpoint. The inclusion of a structure gives a reference point and something to compare the size of the 'explosions'. Good shot. Nick.

Firework shots are difficult to get right but you've done well with this one Paul. Definitely needs to be viewed large though.

Ann, how I wish that was the moon, I think it is a firework just starting to explode, sorry to be so honest, but if I had composed it like that I would be 'over-the-moon' [so to speak Wink]
