Crask Inn, Altnaharra Road, Scotland.
My first experience of snow this winter taken during the very recent cold snap in Scotland outside a deserted Crask Inn. It was truly a winter wonderland and I got quite a few lovely Christmas looking shots but this was ultimately my favourite scene with golden late afternoon sunlight raking across agricultural fields complete with grazing sheep (look carefully) and the mist boiling off the heated snow as evening begins to descend. The birch copse of course was the primary subject but it needed a sense of isolation so I took this four shot Panoramic stitch and ended up being delighted with the resulting output. Hope it elicits the same sense of wellbeing that I experienced in yourselves.
4 shot stitched Pano in Photomerge (CS5) GFX50S, 100-200 zoom, ISO 100.
