This is taken from the top of the Aiguille du Tour, in the Mont Blanc range, on the same day that I took yesteday's photo. Its another of the set of images that has made me think differently about how I take photos.

We'd walked past this crevasse but it wasn't until reaching the top that we realised just how big it was! I wanted a photo but nothing was doing its immense size justice until these three climbers came past

Superb. One of my mates has almost the same photo from his climbing there last year - it looks very similar so may even be the same cravasse.
congrats on the HC

Thanks for all your kind comments!

And Adam, I think it does look better bigger. I've got it printed at 16"x12" and hanging on my wall!

Brilliantly exposed, I love the expanse, the climbers give it a sense of scale.

This is a super shot. The clicks should be much higher, as some has already said the thumbnail doesn't do justice.

Congratultions on the HC.

It certainly needed a human figure to give a sense of scale but getting three was a gift! Well worth waiting for the moment. HC well deserved!
