Crimson Glow

By franfoto
This Japanese Acer is one of the potted features that grace our terrace throughout the summer and is just bursting into a striking blaze of colour. I haven't used my glass frame technique for some time but thought it would work well with this image giving it a vibrant crimson glow through the glass border. Many thanks for your lovely comments on my "Pretty in Pink" upload. I haven't been around too much in the last week but hope to catch up with you all this week. Thanks for looking and have a good week enjoying our lovely weather.
Large view makes all the difference if you have the time

Thanks Dawn. It's a fairly complex procedure that I have arrived at by trial and error. At some stage I do intend to write the technique down and post it on EPZ for other members to try so watch this space.
