Cross Pose

By lifesnapper
Hi all, and a very BIG thank you for your wonderful response to my 'Treads On Water', very much appreciated.
A Week or two ago I was walking down Rochester High Street, looking up to see what I could see, when I spotted this lovely Blue Cross which I'd never noticed before. While lining up the shot, I noticed that a Pidgeon was looking straight at me, and seemed to be saying, " Take one of me beside the Cross", so that's just what I did. Well how could I leave Him or Her out ?
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little shot, and that you're all looking foreward to the Weekend, and the chance to take more pic's along the way.

All the best to all,

John Smile

How intriguing, I assumed that this was somewhere much more exotic than Rochester. (It's that unfamiliar blue colour in the sky... ) The support of the cross seems to be a nose-diving bird...

And the bird looks very pleased with itself for persuading you to take its portrait!
Nicely composed and very well exposed.

A white dove, maybe?
Such an attractive and unusual cross, John, and a pigeon with stars in its eyes, seeking fame and fortuneGrin.

So easy to miss an interesting ornamentation like this, but well spotted, John.

A good composition John, it's very unusual of you to upload birds of the feathered variety!
