Beautiful tones on the petals and great use of limited depth of field to throw the background out of focus. A great result.

A lovely diagonal shot - great colour and detail.
By the way, I have often wondered what the flowers are called - well now I know.

Good choices made here, a well blurred bg, view of flower from two vantage points and the inclusion of the buds, all set on a diagonal and sharp and clear!
Good Macro work, Jennnn

Don't think you need any lessons on flower macro Valerie. The flower is well composed good depth of field to throw the background out of focus and the flower pin sharp . Lovely .You could have popped down to see me . I'm only 80 miles away LOL . In fact you should have come for the week-end . Smile xxx

BTW I have 3 son-in-laws all living in Southern England . My son Matt lives in Enniskillen and he's been too busy this year getting his garden into shape to do much fishing .He still writes about it though . Smile xx

I really like this image. You have used the shallow depth of field well to blurr the background and show up the flowers well.
Your old man.
