I was there in similar weather just a handful of weeks ago. You're right - it is difficult to get something different there but these certainly tick the quality boxes.

love all of these picture postcard or not, you have put a lot of thought into all of the compositions Ronnie. V1 with the water feature in the fg with the castle looming over head the detail of the fountain stands out so well with the vegitation on the wall so that no detail is lost shows you thought that out well for pov. love the view through the arch, and the cannon is a great fg interest in v3

Postcard photographers spend a lot of time getting the best angles for their work, just like you have here Ronnie.

There's nowt wrong with 'picture postcard' views, Ronnie...especially ones like these. A very lovely set, but V1 just has to be my fave. As Linda says, very nicely composed with the castle overlooking the fountain in the foreground.

Good morning Ronnie,
It may be hard to avoid the postcard type image, but you've made more than a brave attempt at discounting that, all three have something to enjoy, with maybe V2 just getting an edge for me. Though V1 is a view I don't recollect ever seeing before, from your statement I guess it's probably the most hackneyed!
