Cumbrian Mountain Express

By Rob66
Saturday's Cumbrian Mountain Express approaches Standish on the West Coast Mainline, in the still morning air, the train, hauled by Black 5 No. 45305, could be clearly heard as it set off from Wigan North Western station about two and a half miles to the south, and then for the next four or five minutes every "chuff" as the locomotive accelerated up the 1 in 104 of Boar's Head bank towards Standish.

Thanks for looking, Rob.
