Cupric Curves ................ Never Seen on a Harley Davidson!!

By DicksPics
I have taken a bit of a risk with the factual element of the title and the reference to Harley Davidson Motorcycles!!
These images were taken at the National Railway Museum in York last Saturday - I'm glad I took my tripod!
The wonderful pipework is part of the steam system of quite a famous steam locomotive(No. 92220) built in 1960.
I wish I'd taken some Brasso and a couple of rags to remove the finger prints!!
Maybe not to everyone's taste, I know, but I thought this pair were worth an airing!
Please indulge me today as it is my 21st birthday - for the third time!!
Many appreciative thanks to all who viewed, clicked and commented on my 'Three in a Row' upload!Smile
Have a good day - I intend to!!
Richard

Happy birthday Richard. Two excellent images with lovely curves
and brilliant detail which I'm sure will excite many people.
I can appreciate how difficult it is to capture indoor shots such as these so well done.
Now go and have a great day.

A belated happy birthday to you.

Lovely imges. I'm glad you forgot the brasso. Those fingerprints give a great patina to the brass work.

Title is very apt, fitting V 1 image so well, but the give away is the big wheel in V 2: and two crackers, Richard, the pipes polished to perfection.
Like both equally, so 1/2 vote to each.
And many happy returns on your birthday......have a great day.
Ronnie.

Happy Belated Birthday mate. As for the images well whilst image two is superb in its own right, it is image one that is a seriously shiny steamingly seductive selective snap shot....

Have a great day Richard. I remember these pipes well from last Wednesday but no tripod so I was on ISO4000!!! Two good crops but I think I prefer the wider view and composition of v2.
