Curbar Mornings

By Nick_w
First of all a big thank you to Les Forrester and Ian Munroe for the User awards on the last picture. Its a great ego boost to receive such accolades from people I admire so much.

This is from last Saturdays trip to Curbar, well a stop off before heading to the infamous Padley gorge, where I was hoping for something a bit different. The experiment at Padley didn't work, but I got a couple of pleasing images non the less, which may get an outing.

As for this I got a conventional take of this, but I quite liked this version - I was attracted to the incoming cloud, quickly set up the Big Stopper and for once it all came together.I wasn't expecting much fearing too much FG movement.

Its taken a while to get the WB on the Big stopper right in Lightroom, I think I'm about there - this was very blue straight out of camera with AWB.

Anyway tell me what you think.
