Curious Traveler

By K_T
Often as a passenger in the car you look out thinking 'Ooohh that would make a good photo' then the car has moved on and the moment has gone. I think life is a little bit like that sometimes and you need to stop and enjoy the moment.

So the story here is a passing traveler stops from his carriage to explore the curiosity that has presented itself.

The sky, building, floor, steps, birds, mist, man and shadow are all seperate entities.

You can see my previous versions and the huge mistake I made with the shadow on my FB page. If you want updates from my FB page just click the like button once you are on the page (to the right of where it says KT Allen Photography ).

Enjoy, have fun...next round of images hopefully will include some of Appleby Gypsy/Traveler Fair. If anyone else is going inbox me =)

Nice idea and good craftsmanship.
One minor thing: Inside the building you wouldn't see the floor from this angle of view.

Nice work !

Maybe a gradient map on the light on the steps would have moulded its draw a little better , edges seem a bit directional.

Bloody good mood though Smile

Another beautifully crafted image KT... one that tells a story and asks (no demands) that the viewer to get involved.

Couldn't agree with you more about the "... need to stop and enjoy the moment." Its something most of us do too little of - due to our busy lives - but need to make a conscious effort to do more of as we get older.

As they say... "Here for a good time... not a long time!" Wink

Cheers
