Cute Little Thing

By ChiliMan
Hey, people Smile

Just a simple shot of a wee bug that I spotted in my brotherís garden. I had to crop considerably for V1Öas you can see from the uncropped version in V2 Grin

Had I known I was gonna be doing any close-upping of seriously small things, I wouldíve brought my kit lens. When using lower focal lengths on that and paired with an extension tube, you can get really close. Unfortunately I just had my Industar 28mm plus extension tube. And this critter was too tiny.

Iíd initially thought it was some sort of ladybird. Upon emailing this to CarolG, she said it looks like a sort of shield bug.

Whatever it is, itís well cute, isnít it? Grin

Nice to see something different and now we'll find out who knows their bugs when they see them. Definitely not me. But it sure is a cute and shiny little guy........Sandy

Sooooo sweet Andrew........ the bug....... Wink
I have some pics of a tiny fella that I have no idea what it is..... saw them on some "snap dragons" last year in the garden, but they haven't visited this year. They were yellow, but not ladybirds, must have been 25% the size of a ladybird.
Lovely shot AndrewGrinGrin
