I still have two 2 1/4 Yashicamat cameras. They have a centrally placed film advance handle on the side. So not Yahshica and seems not to be looking like a Rollicord so still guessing then. On second thought, this could be a different model of Yashica. That logo on top seems very much like the Yashica ' Y' logo. TG

Thank you Tony. As soon as I read "Rolleicord" a bell rang in my head. I've googled and using images I've found the Rolleicord VA and then an instruction manual with a detailed diagram. I'm pretty certain I'm right. They went through hard times and I believe he must have sold it. I'll ask my mother!
