This is Daisy, I found her as a puppy at the side of the road in a cage, in Nicaragua. I bought her (for way too much money), and she's lived happily ever after since. Unfortunately I no longer live in Nicaragua so she is looked after by a friend of mine, and I miss her terribly. She was hungry and covered in fleas when I bought her, and had an insatiable appetite. If we didn't watch her she would eat so much that she couldn't walk because her tummy was just too big. She had enormous ears as a puppy, they would flap in the wind, she nearly got called Dumbo! She grew into the ears and is just the sweetest dog you could ever meet.

She goes swimming every day and she's also very good at digging for crabs, but not very good at catching them when they emerge from their burrows in a bad mood! Sometimes they get their own back and nip her on the nose, usually they run very fast and get to the sea before she has a chance to see them, because her nose is still stuck in the sand!
