Dalyan Rock Tombs circa 400BC

By Rapido57
Having just returned from a trip to Turkey, I thought I would share some of the photographs of the area we were staying in; this first one is of the Dalyan Rock Tombs. The Tombs are the final resting place of the Kings of Caunos and are carved in the Lycian style. You can see two types of tombs a simple chamber and a more temple-liked tomb all have long since been raided. The photograph was taken from a river boat, unfortunately at perhaps the sunniest part of the day, but I think the picture works okay.

Was much warmer there, so am a bit chilly today Sad
