I keep coming back to this one, there's so much in it that takes me back to my photographic roots. Human story, terrific atmosphere, terrific processing, and sport that's real rather than a manufactured product. Love it.
Thank you Britchie and Moira... glad you like the image. Moira... must admit I like looking at the image from time to time as well, as it reminds me of my time in the UK, travelling to the various historic racing events at the famous UK circuits and talking to the owners as well as capturing the action. As you said, this image tells a bit of a story about a form of motor sport that is real and honest, in addition to being quite competitive.
