Dancing in the air...

By xwang
The photo was taken in Whitby yesterday. It rained all the time when I was there... I saw one seagull was trying to land on the lamp to 'replace' the one had been there already..I clicked. Sort of snap..a lucky one. There wasn't much colour in it, so I turned it in B&W. I'm not sure if I should increase the contrast or not, what do you think? Comments and advices are welcome. Thanks.

Great capture Jasmine. I would leave the contrast alone, I like it as it is.

have had a go at a mod...lots of scope for different variations...have tried to give the seagull wings a little more definition GrinGrin

A moody upload, Jasmine, very much Whitby (or Scarborough) as I remember on these 'yuk' days. Maybe a bit too dark, mod uploaded giving a bit more contrast and clarity to the gulls. Had to denoise afterwards though Smile

Personally I would increase the contrast
Hi Jasmine. When it's overcast there isn't much contrast, and that's that, leave it natural. Note your subliminal vote request, top right, ok, you got me. Si
