Danger Beyond the Wall

By sherlob
Thanks for the votes and comments on my recent uploads.

Back to storms of my last night in Crete recently. I was pleased with this - in the past I have always found taking images of lightening a tricky process - similar to knitting water. In this case - the frequency of the lightening helped.

The fg is a little soft in this - difficult to focus in the near dark. The illumination on the harbour rocks comes from the lights of Sissi - a small harbour town to my immediate right.

Powerful image Adam. I know how difficult these are to get and yet this one is so well lit and composed.
