Dare You to Figure This One Out

In fact, I double-dare you. This glass tower seems to have been deliberately designed to create eye-confounding reflections. I have included a small patch of sky in upper-left corner to give you a fighting chance to orient your perception, and have also left in the frame the vertical cement column on the left side to further help you distinguish between the actual building and its mere reflections. Have fun!

This branch office of the Royal Bank of Canada sits in North York, a northern suburb of Toronto. Like the bank's world headquarters down near the waterfront, real gold was bonded in micro-thin layers to many of its glass panels.
