DARK GREEN FRITILLARY

By cymru2019
I took this shot on a warm summers evening in 2018 on the west side of the Great Orme at Llandudno by the Old Toll House. There were lots of butterflies whizzing about but this one settled on a flower for quite a while. It is amazing what shots little cameras can take, even as in this case when the camera was hand held. One of the downsides of being in a camera club is that judges comment on the brightness of the flowers and say they are distractions. Well I disagree with them because in the created order bright flowers were made so that the butterflies would be attracted to them and they would find the nectar.

Great Image David.
Just shows how much judges know, that's one reason I got out of the Camera Club scene years ago. Wink
