Dark Skies Over The Lighthouse

Last week I had a couple of days on Anglesey - somewhere new for me to explore.

Trev (TrevBattWCC) did say it was lovely and you weren't wrong about that Trev.

Whilst not a photography trip, the coastal scenery was beautiful and we had a great couple of days walking,

We visited Llandwyn Island, which is a small spit of land that is cut off at high tide and hides some lovely sandy coves.

This shot is of one of two lighthouses on the small island, which was first lit in 1975 (according to Google) - but it appears much older than that to me - and is still lit today.

Thought I recognised this! On our Camera Club weekend on Anglesey, this was our first stop-off. The tide wasn't completely out, some had wellies, I just had trainers and got my feet wet 😬 At least it was completely out on the way back! Our last stop-off was at Penmon Point, and being October, didn't have to wait long for the sun setting on the lighthouse and Puffin Island there- delightful... 😃 A super capture here, Graham, thanks for the memories 👍🏻

We visited Llanddwyn Island in 2019 - so many photo opportunities.
