A herd of heavily pregnant Dartmoor ponies and foals head for a much needed drink of water from a moorland leat. The granite cross is called "Windy Post". It is situated to North West of Feather Tor. The lilt of the cross is due to centuries of ponies and cattle using it as a convenient scratching post.
