A well composed shot. I don't know whether it's the strange quality of the light at the time or something in your processing, but there's an unusual effect here. I like it a lot.

Like Dougie I associate dates with Xmas. My parents used to get a hamper at Xmas, & there was always a box of dates in it.

As this appears to be pretty much as shot Sandy, it really is incredible, the comments above imply they think you've manipulated it somehow, but you usually say if that is the case.
