Daubenton's Bat

This bat after eating all the flies and things in the spiders webs..went to sleep for three day..got us very concerned..but then did a moonlight on us..The book says it is a Daubentons Bat which live near water...

oh wow! I've been trying to shoot bats for ages and failed.
what a super shot! I'm really jelouse!
Was it on your house? I can't find where our local 'fly-by-nights' roost:-(

Hi Patricia..the bats round here roost in the trees....So we were very surprised to see this one out in daylight....
